Ok so I posted a post in this tribe Queer Sincerity--In the tribe the moderator writes in his introduction--" Sincerity means that we don't hide by becoming sarcastic or defensive, or by deflecting or changing the subject or writing off the unobtainable grapes as being sour. It means that we own how we are, exactly as we are. It means not needing to negotiate for our acceptance: they can take us or leave us, and we'll learn to live with however that makes us feel. It's a clean way of being in the world.
It's a queer way of being in the world. "
Needless to say I posted a post that explained my general angst and anti-gay-stereo-type-phoenomenon I've noticed recently, with me being unable to get along with Females. I don't enjoy their company very much and find so many flaws in them. I find them too needy, and just a general waste of time. I used the word loathe, which generally means to hate--Too strong a word now that I think of it. To which the moderator shoots me this email.
"I removed your post to Queer Sincerity about "loathing" women. It's out of bounds in general in my book, and especially in a tribe that includes women.
You may be on Tribe to vent, but don't try it in tribes I moderate unless you can learn how to moderate yourself.
Next time, not only your post, but your membership in the tribe will be removed.

All this from a tribe that denotes free speech?? Telling it like it is. Apparently this guy has a reputation to keep up with the females who might be his largest publishing audience. Was I wrong in posting this?? Needless to say I quit his tribe. I tried to retrieve my original posting for all you to compare but could not find it in my temp file.

Re: Watch what you say in "Queer Sincerity" tribe--A major Faux Paux
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 12:32 PMUm, Abe, I'm a member of this tribe, too.
Reading this post, I see that I did the right thing. You've demonstrated sarcasm AND defensiveness AND sour grapes. -

Re: Watch what you say in "Queer Sincerity" tribe--A major Faux Paux
Mon, November 20, 2006 - 8:51 AMUhh of course I've got Sour Grapes--YOU PUT THEM THERE KHRYSO. I thought Queer Sincerity was a place to express yourself, and get feedback. Maybe I am wrong in my assumptions towards certain groups of people, if so I want to know--I am one of those few people that you will meet who wants to hear criticizm of my ideas..
Anyway all that solved--I have started my own group called VENT IT NOW.
In this tribe you can post whatever you want without fear of being called a bigot, racist, homo-phobic, str8-phobic or much less have your posts removed.
I believe in society we've created so called "protected groups" not only by legislation but also due to the media--we're so afraid to criticize individuals of "protected groups" to the extent we have become self-righteously absorbed into a state of pseudo intellectual, biased and predisposed lethargics.
If I break typical gay stereotypes while I am at it--Big Deal!
